Christmas Post
Well, quite honestly it demands an apology that I've not posted anything on here since 21st November.
For the majority of my life I have lived in London. I was born in Surrey, attended schools in north London and Hertfordshire, went to university in London and been resident there long-term. I love London, and have struggled to stay away on the occasions when I have tried to live elsewhere in the past. However, my family and I have always had strong connections with the west, too, in Herefordshire, which is beautiful and truly rural.
Earlier this month, I finally made what I think may be a more long-term move to Malvern, on the border of Worcestershire and Herefordshire, though I will always keep London in my life, too. Here follows, my diary of ...

It's 21st November and my last post was on 5th November! Good gracious. November has almost just "come and gone" and it's felt like an instant. I'm a little sad that I haven't documented more frequently these past 2 weeks and 2 days, but it has been busy. All the above photos were taken on my birthday which was last Thursday, 13th November.

However, it's still an opportunity to look into/draw attention to certain topics ... and I still like a bit of gothic study! Earlier today I was doing History Club, looking into the 30 years' war in Europe (1618-1648) - and this naturally incorporated the Habsburgs - and so there was a chance to talk about Dracula!!

On 19th September I moved out of my little Pied a Tere in Islington, which was a little teary, actually. I've rarely cried on leaving a place in my adult life, but my little pad was the happiest home I've had in London, so I was genuinely upset to have to leave.

My life has recently taken a turn that could certainly be referred to as an "Escape to the Country"! However, I have still been commuting to London every week or so. Therefore, it really is the best of both at the moment, in the beautiful season of Autumn.
