It's 21st November and my last post was on 5th November! Good gracious. November has almost just "come and gone" and it's felt like an instant. I'm a little sad that I haven't documented more frequently these past 2 weeks and 2 days, but it has been busy. All the above photos were taken on my birthday which was last Thursday, 13th November.
It feels like I've hardly been in Malvern at all, and it's suddenly the last week of the month. Still, I have been here and there are many photos I've taken of the past fortnight.
After fireworks, I enjoyed a Roast lunch out at the Nag's Head, Malvern with Mum & Dad the Sunday before my birthday. Then on the day itself, I woke early and read the bible first thing. The Verse of the Day happened to be Philippians 4:4 ... which is all about joy. Appropriate for a birthday!
It was indeed a joyful day from beginning to end, really - not least because of the sunrise in the morning, which was stunning. I had a First Class train ticket due to it having been cheaper than Standard for some reason, and so I enjoyed some champagne and smoked salmon with my favourite Truffle crisps (all home-packed!) Then got to London, met my sister and friends - in my favourite district of Marylebone! Refined and gentile and English!
I then worked over the weekend and now just about found the moment to write this. Amen.
