It's Halloween ... and, well, to be honest, as a Christian i have laid this festival down to a large degree. However, it's still an opportunity to look into/draw attention to certain topics ... and I still like a bit of gothic study! Earlier today I was doing History Club, looking into the 30 years' war in Europe (1618-1648) - and this naturally incorporated the Habsburgs - and so there was a chance to talk about Dracula!!
This said, this is just a general diary entry to try to catch up. My energy is limited and thinly spread among many projects and ventures, so everything these days seems to be somewhat of a delayed and somewhat rushed summary!!
Let's catch up then from the latter part of October, being necessarily satisfied that I have covered September and the commence of October in the previous post.
... On the 22nd I moved into my new abode in Malvern, from where my parents are currently staying in the nethermost wilds of Herefordshire, without a bus stop!
I'm very glad and grateful to be here, and in this now, the second week - and seem to be finding something of a pattern. There are never enough days, though, still. So many ideas, passions, ambitions, goals, inspirations, commanded to be summarised, time-constrained, if to be produced at all.
Maybe it's me ... in a rush, worried I won't get it done or have enough energy, worried about sleep etc. Just wanting to be awake doing things all the time, but one has to main order and health, so boundaries have to come into place .. priorities, etc, etc.
I've been doing all that I can and striving to improve, but the best achievement so far: two consecutive days of early-morning Bible reading! Proverbs 1-3 and this morning, Galatians 1-2.
